Dear Apollo

And as your faith in me never revealed itself into words
Spoken out loud, not whispered in signs
I chose to resign
From the heaviness of your silence

Riddles get tiring and energies get stirred
Once again I connect the dots

A prisoner of your thoughts
I am talking to me right now, hear me

It was a message from Heaven
I saw what you told me but had a different play
In my art I stay, wild
Nice and cozy, safe and warm but ate the pain

Oh — if only your name had the strength to pierce through
Dear Apollo

But I, I trust your courage, the allegory and the future
What will unfold already has
Not by reading between the lines, but by devouring the whole book
And by pillaging that ancient library — gently and with consent

The crows have eaten the breadcrumbs left
While Demeter already planted the fresh wheat
Now the season has changed and I’ve reaped the fruit of other seeds,
baked and broke other breads

With my belly full and your lovers numerous
Do I unravel the threads again
or did Fate put us intentionally
in separate periods
